Is Kendall Jenner going to beat big sis Kim Kardashian to the cover of Vogue?
(Is Kim going to have us killed for even typing that?) She appears to
be one step closer to major fashion model legitimacy, having just walked
in Marc Jacobs’s show Thursday night.
Jenner also passed that fashion model rite of passage — looking like
an alien while going topless down the runway — with flying colors. We
can’t show you the still, non-censored version, but a very proud Khloe
Kardashian would be happy to share it with you. (Plus, see a full, less blurry video of her whole walk right here!)
And plenty of Instagram users were posting close-up looks of Jenner’s
otherworldly beauty look, featuring bleached eyebrows, violet shadow and
a hair look that seemed to take more than a little inspiration from dad Bruce Jenner.
The set was as alien as Jenner’s makeup look — lots of orange skies and
floating clouds, with ethereal music being piped through. If you saw the
set and then saw a Kardashian klan member walking the runway, no one
would blame you for pinching yourself to see if you were awake. But
between spokesmodel Miley Cyrus and his latest model choice, it looks like Jacobs has gone totally L.A.
